Would love to do ‘Devil Wears Prada’ sequel: Meryl Streep

Los Angeles: Meryl Streep earned an Oscar nomination for her role in 2006`s ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ and the actress says she would love to be a part of the sequel.

The 62-year-old said she would have to lose a lot of weight to reprise her role of Miranda Priestly, reported a website. "I don`t know if there is a sequel being planned. I`ve never heard about it. But sure, I mean, I`d have to lose the weight, but yes. I guess I would do, I would do that," she said. According to reports, author Lauren Weisberger is penning ‘Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns’, which takes place eight years after the 2006 bestseller. In the follow-up, Andy (Anne Hathaway) is now the editor at The Plunge, a hot bridal magazine, working alongside Emily (Emily Blunt). In the process of planning her own wedding, Andy`s world collides with her stiletto-loving former boss. PTI
