Micromax CEO Vineet Taneja resigns

New Delhi: Micromax CEO Vineet Taneja has resigned, making it the latest high-profile exits from the company in one year, as per an Economic Times report.

The company has, however not  revealed if it wishes to replace the CEO with someone else, the ET further said.

Before joining Micromax, Taneja was Samsung India's mobile and IT business chief.

With over 25 years of experience, Taneja has worked with consumer brands like Hindustan Lever, Nokia and Bharti Airtel, prior to Samsung. He holds a degree in engineering from IIT-Roorkee and is an alumnus of IIM-Kolkata.
