Katy Perry, Russell Brand reject wedding photo deal

London: Newlyweds Katy Perry and Russell Brand have turned down a string of lucrative offers to sell their wedding photos in order to safeguard their privacy.

The `I Kissed a Girl` hitmaker, who exchanged vows with the British comedian in a lavish ceremony in India last month, hired burly security guards to keep the paparazzi out to avoid further intrusion into their lives, Contactmusic reported. Brand, 35, has claimed that they were inundated with picture deals from top magazines but ultimately decided not to share their most intimate moments with the world. "They offered us money to sell the photos, but once you`ve sold the photos to the wedding, how can you go, `Oh, give us privacy!` We kept them private and normal," he said. PTI
