Ranveer Singh's ‘Devdas’ act and a standing ovation

Mumbai: He is just a couple of films old, but the newbie has been able to impress the who’s who of the film industry. The talented young man has a number of plump projects in hand - ‘Gunday’, ‘Lootera’, to name few - and is now busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’ which also stars Deepika Padukone. Ranveer Singh is certainly here to stay. The actor is leaving no stone unturned in putting his best foot forward. And hence he got drunk to wear a convincing inebriated expression while enacting an important scene from ‘Ram Leela’, a leading daily reported. The end result was something that none could have ever imagined - the actor succeeded in giving the shot in a single take! His performance moved SLB to tears and not just that- the young actor won a standing ovation from the unit. Well done Ranveer!
