Melbourne: Actress Sofia Vergara feels that she’s too old to be featured in lists with Kim Kardashian and thinks that the reality TV star would be ‘upset’ that their bums get compared.
The 39-year-old, who plays Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in TV sitcom Modern Family, cannot believe that she still features in magazine polls rating the world’s most beautiful women as she is approaching 40.
Vergara thinks Kardashian should be “upset” that their bums get compared.
“It’s fantastic to be near the top of the beautiful women polls - I’m nearly 40. I wonder if they’re crazy sometimes when people compare my ass with Kim Kardashian’s,” News.com.au quoted her as telling BANG Showbiz.
“She’s 10 years younger than me, she should be upset! I shouldn’t be competing in these lists,” she said.
However, the Columbian beauty still regards herself as “sexy” even as she approaches the landmark age - which she will hit in June 2012 – despite admitting she has a “few extra pounds” compared to her fellow famous stunners.
“I have big boobs, I have a voluptuous figure, and I like to laugh a lot, this is who I am,” she had said.
“But it’s great to still be thought of as sexy, especially now that I’m nearly 40. I don’t want to look super skinny and I think since I’m nearly 40 now, I’m glad I have a few extra pounds because otherwise your face has more lines,” she added.
