Mumbai: Former Maharashtra Chief Minister of Vilasrao Dekhukh passed away Tuesday afternoon in Chennai following multiple organ failure and liver cancer. Vilasrao, father of Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh was admitted to the Global Hospital in Chennai.
Deshmukh was to undergo liver and kidney transplant and was on life support system ever since he got admitted to the hospital. His son Riteish had proposed to donate his liver.
Celebrities took to Twitter to pay their condolences to Deshmukh’s family. Here’s what they tweeted:
