Chris Brown faces backlash from neighbours over `monster graffiti` house

Chris Brown has angered his neighbours after decorating the outside of his Hollywood Hills residence with colourful spray-painted murals.

Washington: Chris Brown has angered his neighbours after decorating the outside of his Hollywood Hills residence with colourful spray-painted murals.
The "monster graffiti" has become a talking point in the singer`s exclusive neighbourhood, CBS News reported.
The 24-year-old recording artist, who has already been cited by the city for the colourful painting, will be fined if the mural isn`t removed from the luxurious four-story mansion. Patti Negri, representative of some of Brown`s neighbours told the publication that the murals are unacceptable. "I get all the phone calls and I get all the emails," she said. Nergi said that people are just upset by it. She said that though they are happy to have Brown in their neighbourhood, they want him to be a friendly neighbour. Meanwhile, city councilman, Tom LaBonge, said that the artwork is against the city`s regulation for "unpermitted and excessive signage." LaBonge said that Brown has a beautiful home that he lives in, but that type of image is not what is allowed by code. However, Brown`s next door neighbour, Vincent Bouvier, has defended the colourful paintings, saying that Brown, who has very attractive cars and a beautiful house, should be able to do what he wants to with his property.
