Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar was so impressed with Saqib Saleem`s work that he has not only singed him for his banner but also mentored him in how to face media.
Saqib will soon be seen in ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’ (MDKM), a forthcoming venture of Y-Films, an arm of Yash Raj Films (YRF).
"Saqib is part of not one but two big banners - YRF and Dharma Productions. Thus Karan has been showing keen interest in mentoring him for the promotions of MDKM," said a source.
Karan, who has signed the actor for ‘Bombay Talkies’, gave him tips on how he should not be conscious while giving interviews to the media and how he should present himself in public, added the source.
MKDM will hit theatres March 15.
