It’s Irrfan over Aamir for Kiran

Mumbai: Off screen Aamir Khan and his spouse Kiran Rao make a perfect couple. But they seem to have different tastes when it comes to cinema. Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist is desperate to romance his wife on screen but she doesn’t even think of sharing screen space ever with an out and out commercial actor like him. Talking to a tabloid, Kiran talked about her choice of co-star if ever she were to make her acting debut. “If I have to debut as an actress, I would prefer to do so with Irrfan or any new actor, as I like art house cinema and non-commercial actors," said Kiran. But her hubby seems to be in awe of her and is earnestly looking forward to romancing her in cinema. “I wanted Kiran to play the character Yasmeen in Dhobi Ghat, but she refused, so I lost my chance to romance her on-screen. I wanted her to act as she is a very good actress, but she was making a lot of fuss,” said Aamir. Well it seems Mrs Aamir Khan is far more a believer in perfectionism than her husband. What say?
