Priyanka Chopra ready with debut single for NFL

Dubai: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is all set to strike big on the international music scene with her debut music album.

The former Miss World, who is said to have flown to Spain to work on her new single ‘In My City’, has teamed up with rapper will.i.am for the album. The 30-year-old actress will launch her debut on NFL Network’s ‘Thursday Night Football’ on September 13. The day may prove to be a double whammy for the star as her much-anticipated film ‘Barfi’, starring Ranbir Kapoor, is set to be released the same night in Dubai. “It’s been an honour working with the NFL Network to create such a fantastic launch for my debut single,” Gulf News quoted her as telling the Hollywood Reported. “I’m really thrilled to bring my music and a touch of India to America and its football fans,” she said. Managed by Troy Carter, CEO of Atom Factory whose clientele includes Lady Gaga, Chopra is the first Bollywood star to be signed by Hollywood’s leading talent management company CAA. Her full album is expected to release later in 2012. ANI
