Bobbi Kristina confirms engagement to Nick Gordon

Los Angeles: Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of late singer Whitney Houston has confirmed her engagement to adopted brother Nick Gordon on her family reality show.

In a new sneak peek into the new TV show "The Houstons: On Our Own", Kristina, 19, said that Gordon had proposed her but she doesn`t get approval from some members of the family, reported Ace Showbiz. Kristina and Gordon got close after Whitney passed away early this year. "We`re just close just going through her mom`s passing and grieving together," Gordon once tweeted. They first sparked engagement rumours when she was spotted wearing a large diamond ring during a PDA-filled outing. They vehemently denied it back then. The engagement news caught the family off guard. Bobbi`s aunt Patricia called the engagement "unacceptable." Gary Houston, Whitney`s brother was equally surprised. "No one knew that from a godson you would turn into a boyfriend. No one knew that. The family has me out to be a bad person. They want to see us fail... We won`t," Gary said. The reality TV series will premiere on October 24. PTI
