TV’s Gopi Bahu leaves the show for good!

New Delhi: Jiaa Manek aka Gopi Bahu from the popular soap ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ has been shown the door due to her unprofessional conduct and breach of contract. The root of this issue is Jiaa’s desire to take part in a rival channel’s reality dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 5’ but her contract with the abovementioned serial came in her way. Since she did not take permission from them before committing her time as a participant in the dance show, she was asked to leave. Jiaa, on her part, says that it was she who put her papers first. Amidst that entire tussle, the show will not suffer. For that matter, the channel has taken on board actor Devoleena Bhattacharjee to essay the role of Gopi. Devoleena has done some roles in TV serials earlier and she is “very happy” to play her part.
