Madonna steps up rivalry with Gaga?

London: Queen of Pop Madonna has stepped up her hidden rivalry with Lady Gaga ahead of next month`s Oscars, saying she won`t attend a party where the latter is invited.

The 53-year-old superstar has let it be known that if anyone wants her to attend the Oscars after-show party, Gaga must not be on the same guest-list, reported Daily Mail. "It`s unusual for Madonna to be so petty. She doesn`t usually act like this, even about bitter enemies such as Sean Penn and J-Lo. But she didn`t want to be forced into a photo-op with Gaga," a source said. Madonna has not invited the `Judas` hitmaker Gaga to her own Oscars bash hosted with her manager Guy Oseary. Earlier Gaga was accused of copying Madonna`s `Express Yourself` in last year`s anthem `Born This Way` and even the Material Girl felt the same. "I thought, this is a wonderful way to redo my song. I mean, I recognized the chord changes. I thought it was... interesting," Madonna said. PTI
