Nancy Dell’Olio cosies up to former foe Bruno Tonioli

London: Nancy Dell’Olio, who had famously threatened to sue Bruno Tonioli after he accused her of looking like she had “inhaled two gallons of Veuve Clicquot” on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, arrived hand-in-hand with him at the plush event at the Park Lane Hotel on Wednesday.

The 50-year-old property lawyer seems to have forgiven 56-year-old Tonioli for his cutting critique on her dance skills. Their attendance together came over six months after Dell’Olio raged over Bruno’s comment about her performance, claiming that she looked like she had been drinking. “It was nonsense. Once the performance is over, I don’t discuss it. It’s nothing personal,” the Daily Mail quoted Tonioli as saying earlier this year. “All the dancers know they’ll get hit like a ton of bricks if they try and bring something up with me afterwards. “I’d only have taken it seriously if it came from my lawyer, and I never heard a thing. It was all talk. And I know more people than she does!” he said. Also present at the dinner were TV presenters Gaby Roslin and Sarah Cawood and Jerry Hall. The annual fundraising dinner for the AIDS and HIV charity was hosted by actor-author Stephen Fry. ANI
