Megan Fox backtracks on LiLo comments

London: Megan Fox, who appeared to take a dig at Lindsay Lohan during a recent interview in Esquire magazine, has said that she didn’t mean the way her “comments” came out.
The former ‘Transformers’ star took to her Facebook page to clarify her catty remarks “before it snowballs into something silly.” She said that she was discussing why she was removing her Marilyn Monroe tattoo with the journalist, the Mirror reported. In his opinion, Marilyn was such a powerful and iconic figure for women, she said. She said that she attempted to draw parallels between Lohan and Monroe in order to illustrate her point that while the legendary actress may be an icon now, she was not respected and taken seriously while she was still living. Then she said that both women were gifted actresses, whose natural talent was lost amongst the chaos and incessant media scrutiny surrounding their lifestyles and their difficulties adhering to studio schedules etc. She said that she intended this to be a factual comparison of two women with similar experiences in Hollywood, which unfortunately turned into her. “It was most definitely not my intention to criticize or degrade Lindsay. I would never want her to feel bullied, as she does not deserve that. I was not always speaking eloquently during this interview and this miscommunication is my fault,” she said. ANI
