New York: Lena Dunham has hit out at bosses of adult magazine Hustler who are bringing out a porn remake of the HBO series `Girls.`
The new series named `This Ain`t Girls XXX,` features a sizzling version of the program`s protagonist Hannah Hovarth splits with her beau Adam Sackler to explore sexual relationships with women. "Okay, I wracked my brain to articulate why I can`t just laugh off a porn parody of Girls and here are 3 reasons: 1. Because Girls is, at its core, a feminist action while Hustler is a company that markets and monetizes a male`s idea of female sexuality," the New York Post quoted her as posting on Twitter. "2. Because a big reason I engage in (simulated) onscreen sex is to counteract a skewed idea of that act created by the proliferation of porn. "3. Because it grosses me out," she posted. "It`s important to me to be honest about the complexities of having that out in the world. Love, Lena (porn name: Murray Broadway)" she wrote on Twitter. The 27-year-old actress has won praise for showing off her "real woman`s body" in the successful series. ANI
