`The Saturdays` saddened by `Girls Aloud` split

‘The Saturdays’ have expressed their sadness following the split of fellow girl group ‘Girls Aloud’.

London: British pop stars ‘The Saturdays’ have expressed their sadness following the split of fellow girl group ‘Girls Aloud’.
‘Girls Aloud’ parted ways after a decade together, announcing the news upon the completion of their Ten: The Hits Tour in the UK, reported Contactmusic.
‘The Saturdays’, who have long been tipped as Girls Aloud`s chart successors, have now spoken out about the shock split, insisting they are sad to see another girl band step out of the spotlight. "It`s the end of an era. I went to see them on the Ten tour and I`m like, `Why are you splitting up?` It was such a good show," Rochelle Humes said. Vanessa White added, "It`s so sad. ‘The Saturdays’ have no plans to split. I feel like we`ve got loads left." PTI
