Obama still ‘a huge Clint Eastwood fan’ despite offensive skit

President Barack Obama has insisted he is not offended by Clint Eastwood’s Republican National Convention jibe in which the movie star interrogated an empty chair that he said represented the nation’s leader.

Washington: President Barack Obama has insisted he is not offended by Clint Eastwood’s Republican National Convention jibe in which the movie star interrogated an empty chair that he said represented the nation’s leader.
“One thing about being president or running for president - if you``re easily offended, you should probably choose another profession,” Obama said.
According to the Daily Mail, Eastwood stole the show during his speech in which he had a discussion with an ‘invisible Obama’, grilling a chair about the President’s legacy. Obama, who was campaigning in Colarado called Eastwood ‘a great actor, and an even better director’. “I think the last few movies that he’s made have been terrific,” Obama added. He also praised Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney’s business career, describing him as ‘incredibly successful’ as well as ‘disciplined and hard-working’, the report added. ANI
