Lily Allen taking a break from music

Pop star Lily Allen has temporarily quit making music as she has run out of new song ideas.

London: Pop star Lily Allen has temporarily quit making music as she has run out of new song ideas. The 24-year-old singer wants to "live a little more" before making music again as she no longer has new things to write about, reported Contactmusic.
Allen, who recently announced she was retiring from singing, says she plans to take an indefinite break from the pop world, but may return in the future. "I`m definitely taking a break. I`ve been on the road for nearly five years so I`m tired and I need a break. I`ve written about just about everything that`s happened in my life so I feel like I need to go out and live a little bit more and then I`ll see what I`m going to do," she said. Allen, who won Best Track for her single `The Fear` at the Q Awards in London yesterday, has been rumoured to have landed a role in `Reasons to be Pretty`, a stage production in London`s West End. Although she wouldn`t confirm the speculation, the star says she is open to anything during her hiatus. "I might be doing the play, it isn`t confirmed yet. I`m just keeping all my options open," she said. Bureau Report
