Injured B’way `Spider-Man` actor flies again

Tierney battled the Green Goblin during the midair stunt.

New York: An actor seriously injured when he fell more than 30 feet from on onstage platform at the Broadway musical ‘Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark’ has resumed aerial stunts.
Christopher Tierney got into his harness and flew for the first time Thursday since suffering a fractured skull, four broken ribs and three broken vertebrae on Dec. 20 when he tumbled in front of a preview audience.
Show spokesman Rick Miramontez says Tierney battled the Green Goblin during the midair stunt and everything went smoothly. Miramontez called it an "emotional and exciting moment for the cast and crew." The USD 65 million show, which has music from U2`s Bono and The Edge, is currently on hiatus as it gets retooled. Previews begin again May 12. The official opening is scheduled for June 14. Bureau Report
