Staggering celeb salaries for 2012 revealed

New York: Justin Bieber pulled in a staggering 55 million dollars in 2012, it has been revealed.

According to Parade’s “What People Earn” issue, the sum includes album sales, touring and two women’s fragrances. This means the teen superstar made 6,261 dollars an hour last year, the New York Post reported. The magazine’s annual list includes other star salaries, including Bieber’s musical contemporary Taylor Swift who made a whopping 57 million dollars, making her the third highest-paid woman in entertainment behind Oprah Winfrey and Britney Spears. Even though Brad Pitt starred in a stinker of a perfume ad, he took home 35.5 million dollars last year. The actor netted 7 million dollars in the Chanel commercial alone. Sofia Vergara took home 21 million dollars through her hit show ‘Modern Family,’ her Kmart fashion line and campaigns with CoverGirl and Pepsi. Anne Hathaway earned 10 million dollars last year after starring in hits like ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ and ‘Les Miserables.’ That means each pound of the 25-pounds she lost for her Oscar-winning role put another 160,000 dollars in her bank. Patriots QB Tom Brady netted 23 million dollars last year. The magazine reported that he and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen put that money towards a 20 million-dollar home in Los Angeles—with a moat. ANI
