Washington: Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are 100 percent dating, according to sources.
After meeting on the set of Rum Diary back in 2009, the duo didn’t become romantic until the film’s promotional tour in 2011, when Depp and French model-actress Vanessa Paradis, were already seriously estranged.
“They are 100 percent dating,” a magazine has quoted a source as saying.
“He treats her really well,” the source said.
One insider claims that the duo “began sleeping together during the press tour”, while another informed that Depp recently bought Heard a horse this spring.
Depp has two children 13-year-old Lily-Rose and 10-year-old Jack with Paradis- who he dated for 14 years - and is believed to have ended their relationship because he considered her to be boring.
“Johnny didn’t want to be with Vanessa anymore. They had grown so far apart, and he wanted to be free and try new things. He was bored senseless with her, being with Vanessa was making him miserable,” a source said.
“The spark had gone, and there was nothing left. Johnny just wants more from life and believes Vanessa deserves to be happier too.
“He’s not embroiled in some hot and heavy new romance and he has no plans to jump straight into something straight away, but he is keen to have some fun again,” the source added.
Bisexual Heard, 26, also became single recently, splitting with girlfriend Tasya van Ree.
