MCD polls: Swaraj India launches radio campaign

Yogendra Yadav-led Swaraj India on wednesday started on radio its campaign for the April 23 polls to the three municipal corporations.

New Delhi: Yogendra Yadav-led Swaraj India on wednesday started on radio its campaign for the April 23 polls to the three municipal corporations.

The party has come up with four-to-five audio capsules, which have started playing on four radio channels, through which Yadav is making an appeal to the voters to vote for his party candidates in its debut polls.

"We have been facing cash crunch. So the only option we had was to have radio campaigns and increase our presence on social media," said party leader Anupam.

The 20-second audios are expected to run 15-16 times a day.
