After the recent controversy and allegations related to CBSE sample paper and its association with Educart, the company has come out with a statement reacting to the media reports related to the issue. The firm alleged vendetta from its competitor while clarifying on the issue. Educart is a brand of Agrawal Group of Publications.
Educart claimed that on September 8, 2023, CBSE uploaded practice papers under their 'Question Bank' section for Class 10 and 12. The company said that there was no claim either in the social media messages or the user interface of Educart providing these papers 'in collaboration’ with CBSE. "Regrettably, a competitor of ours resorted to unethical tactics by doctoring our original PDF and messages, adding 'fake' icons and text, and even incorporating images of unrelated YouTubers' video thumbnails," the company claimed.
The company claimed that the alleged competitor also disseminated similar materials via random emails and posts to CBSE officials, falsely posing as 'worried teachers.' The company issued an apology to students and parents for whole confusion and added that moving forward Educart will add appropriate disclaimers in any future communications.
