TNPSC Group 4 service examination results 2015-16 declared

New Delhi: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) on Tuesday announced the results of the Group 4 service examination which was held on November 6, 2016. 

Nearly 10 lakh candidates had appeared in the examination.

The minimum qualifying marks for selection was 90 out of 300.

The results can be checked by visiting the official website of TNPSC (www.tnpsc.gov.in).

Simple steps to check your rank:

• Visit TNPSC Official website, www.tnpsc.gov.in
• Click on `Grp-IV Rank` tab on the right sidebar
• A new page will open
• Enter Registration Number in the box
• Click on 'Submit' button 
• Check the TNPSC Group 4 result

The examination was held to fill 5,451 Group-IV Services posts. 

Out of over 5,000 vacancies, as many as 2,345 are for the recruitment for the post of junior assistant (non-security); 121 for junior assistant (security); 532 for field surveyor; 8 for bill collector (grade I); 327 for draftsman; 1,714 for typist; and 404 for steno-typist (grade III).

The eligible candidates will have to clear an interview round later.
