Mumbai, Nov 14: Bollywood actor Salman Khan turned several kids and parents of Sukun Park at Mount Mary Church ecstatic by turning up at a function organized on the eve of Children’s Day here.
While children had a gala time enjoying magic show and dance, Salaman Khan’s presence doubled up their joy.
The actor, on the occasion, had a word of advice and message for all the kids celebrating the function in an open park.
"There is one message I want to give to all you children and that is eat properly, grow up right, study hard and be strong. I think the only perfect thing God has made is children and then as soon as they start growing up, they become ‘weird’ and messed up. When we were growing up, at that time Children``s Day wasn’t hyped that much as compared presently," said Salman Khan, the actor.
Children enjoyed the evening to their hearts`` content while Salman made sure that he should not let go of his professionalism there also and ended up promoting his film ‘Yuvvraaj’ among the crowd.
Apart from promoting his movie, he also obliged the autograph hunters among his fans.
Children’s Day is celebrated across the country on Nov.14 to mark the birthday of India’s first Prime Minister Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru, who was known for his special affection for children.
