New Delhi: Though he may be turning a year older, actor Amitabh Bachchan's name will never leave the limelight. On October 11, 1942, filmstar Amitabh Bachchan was born to parents Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan in Allahabad. The star turns 73-year old on Sunday.

Talking cinema, who can ever forget Amitabh Bachchan, a.k.a Big B? He was the sole name in the industry for a significant time and we still recall many of his popular dialogues and dwell in awe.
