Katie Price sells horse named Andre

Katie Price has sold her horse named after her former husband Peter Andre.

London: Glamour model Katie Price aka Jordan has sold her horse named after her former husband Peter Andre and has bought a new one called Jordan`s Striker.

The 31-year-old star, who split from the singer last year, had bought the horse named Andre 14 months ago, but decided to sell it as she considered it inappropriate to ride him anymore, reported Mirror online. "She adored Andre but riding him felt inappropriate. So Kate wanted a totally fresh start," said a source. The model, eligible for GB trials for the 2012 Olympics, spent one whole day inspecting a stable full of some of the best horses and eventually picked a seven-year-old chestnut giant worth 250,000 pounds. "The pair immediately bonded, which is vital if Kate is going to compete well," the source said. Price, who is currently dating cage-fighter Alex Reid, has a penchant for horses and usually names them after the men in her life. "The last one was Cross-dresser, after Alex Reid, and obviously the one before that was Andre," the source added. Price now has six horses, including two mares, in her stable. PTI
