London: Pop star Katy Perry feels the amount of time people are spending on the web is having harmful effect on the society.

The 27-year-old singer wishes that people should just step away from their computers and talk to each other in person, reported Femalefirst. "Someone please pull the plug on the internet. Does it really better us as humans? #writealetter #whoactuallytalks #thistweetishypocritical (sic)," Perry tweeted.
