Naomi Campbell to become producer?

Los Angeles: Supermodel Naomi Campbell wants to be a producer after recently striking up a career in film.

The 45-year-old model recently landed acting roles as cougar paramour Camilla Marks in "Empire" and fashion editor Claudia Bankson in "American Horror Story", but hopes her future lies behind the camera, reported InStyle magazine.

"I wasn't trying for a career change, but everyone's been so supportive in the acting world. To be honest, what I really want to do is produce," Campbell said.

But the British beauty has admitted the roles have introduced her to a new generation of fans.

"I still have my day job as a model. But things are changing. I'll be at the airport, and someone will shout out, 'Hey Camilla!' and I'll say, 'Wait, I'm Naomi!'"
