‘Heroine’ isn’t another ‘Dirty Picture’: Kareena

Even though she was born into the first family of the Hindi film industry, success didn’t come easy to Kareena Kapoor. After having laboured hard to grab the top spot in Bollywood, Bebo wouldn’t want anyone to compare her with others.

Mumbai: Even though she was born into the first family of the Hindi film industry, success didn’t come easy to Kareena Kapoor. After having laboured hard to grab the top spot in Bollywood, Bebo wouldn’t want anyone to compare her with anyone.
The Kapoor girl who is currently busy shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar’s ambitious project, ‘Heroine’ has clarified that the film is no where close to Vidya Balan’s ‘The Dirty Picture’. ‘Heroine’ is the story of a very ambitious actress Mahi Khanna, who tastes super stardom and eventually plunges into deep misery. So in order to prevent people from assuming that it’s another ‘Dirty Picture’, Bebo cleared the air. Addressing reporters at a press conference recently, Bebo said, “There are absolutely no similarities between the two films.” Kareena said that ‘The Dirty Picture’ was a film based on the life of a real life sex-symbol, who ruled the south Indian film industry in the 1980s. But in ‘Heroine’, Kareena plays a fictitious character. Looks like ‘Heroine’ Kareena hates getting ‘Dirty’. What say?
