New Delhi: What happens when a yesteryear blockbuster is remade by some of the biggest selling names in the industry—fireworks alone can explain the end result. Well, without keeping much under wraps, we bring you the news that 1989 super-hit `Ram Lakhan` is all set to be remade by none other than Dharma Productions, Rohit Shetty in association with Subhash Ghai`s Mukta Arts.Hold your horses, people! Here is what Karan Johar tweeted this morning: “Rohit Shetty...Dharma Productions and Mukta Arts come together to remake an iconic Blockbuster!!!!”

Before KJo made the big announcement on the micro-blogging site (his favourite platform to talk about his film these days), Dharma productions` official Twitter handle made the news viral. It posted: “Here`s the big announcement! Rohit Shetty & Karan Johar, in association with Mukta Arts, present RAM LAKHAN in 2016.”

With such a news popping in suddenly, we can`t wait for the makers to reveal the cast. The original had Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, Dimple Kapadia and Raakhee in pivotal roles.
