Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor`s last release `Rockstar` may have failed to set the Box Office cash registers ringing but the young star has caught the attention of several B-town celebs, the latest being Abhishek Bachchan, who was all praise for him.
"I feel Ranbir was sensational in `Rockstar`...his performance was wonderful. I feel he was just amazing. His role was very demanding. At this young age to do a role like
this is very good. He has done a very good job," Abhishek said at the Filmfare Awards press conference here last evening.
Unfortunately for Abhishek, 2011 was not lucky as both his films `Game` and `Dum Maro Dum` failed to click with the audience. But this is not holding him back from lauding other actors including Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and
Vidya Balan.
"Even Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar and Hrithik Roshan were great in ?Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara?. I liked all the three boys.. I don`t know which of these three are nominated in the best actor category. I feel even Ajay Devgn was outstanding in
`Singham`," he said.
He further said, "I have done two films with Vidya -- `Paa` and `Guru`...she is wonderful actress. I have always enjoyed working with her. I think she has wonderful subtlety towards work. I am happy that her hard work has paid off in Dirty Picture," he added.
Talking about awards, Abhishek said, "I am excited whenever I get nominated or my film gets nominated. It’s a huge deal for an actor. I feel its a way of saying that our
films are worthy. Winning and losing is fine. I feel right person wins."
