New Delhi: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan took a break from work and visited Mumbai's most revered Ganesha idol, Lalbaugcha Raja. Big B was accompanied by his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya.
The three sought blessings of the elephant-headed god and also performed the maha aarti. Amitabh Bachchan took to micro-blogging website Twitter to talk about his visit to the pandal. He also tweeted two pictures- one of the Ganesh idol and one of him performing aarti with Aishwarya and Abhishek.

This is not the first time that Amitabh Bachchan has offered prayers at the Ganapati pandal, he has been going there since 1974. Every year several B-town biggies visit the famous pandal in Mumbai's Lalbaug area and seek the Almighty's blessings.
Now in its 80th year, the Lalbaugcha Raja attracts devotees not only from the city but from across the state.
