Beyonce and Jay-Z splash out on gifts for newborn daughter

Washington: Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z have splashed out over 1.5 million dollars for newly born Blue Ivy, which includes buying a gold rocking horse worth 600,000 dollars.

The couple, who became parents to the girl on Saturday have reportedly spent over 1.5 million dollar on toys and equipment for the little one, including a 15,000 dollar high chair and a 30,000 dollar playhouse. "They`re really pulling out all the stops - the two of them have been spending like there`s no tomorrow! "Together they`ve bought a Swarovski-studded high chair by Carla Monchen for $15,000, and a Fantasy `posh tots` coach carriage crib for $22,000," Contactmusic quoted a source as telling Britain`s Star magazine. "Jay-Z bought Beyonce a solid gold handmade Ginza Tanaka rocking horse for $600,000. They`ve even splashed out on a $30,000 magical windmill playhouse for the garden and a mini Bugatti car, too," he said. Besides spending around 350,000 dollar to ensure that the nurseries in their three homes are identical they also spent thousands of dollars on Blue`s wardrobe. "They`ve bought a wardrobe packed with thousands of pounds` worth of one-off designer baby clothes. She`s going to be the most fashionable baby around and will be giving Harper Beckham a run for her money in the style stakes. Plus they`ve got baby charm bracelets, gold and platinum diamond rattles and dummies from Tiffany and Co, too," he added. Beyonce and Jay-Z`s famous friends have also been splashing out on the baby.
