Classifying actors as comedians is derogatory: Abhishek Bachchan

Mumbai: Abhishek Bachchan feels it is derogatory to classify actors as comedians.

"Why classify actors as comedian or normal actors. An actor is an actor. It is derogatory. Any actor who does comedy is not a comedian. It is not correct to classify," Abhishek told reporters here at an event of "Housefull 3" when asked to comment on the best comic actor in Bollywood.

To this, his co-star from the film Chunkey Pandey jokingly said, "I think comedy film should get Oscars or national award to change things."

Leading lady Jacqueline Fernandez feels it's not easy to do comic stuff on screen like tripping and falling.

"Housefull 3" starring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, Chunkey Pandey, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Haydon releases tomorrow.

On the Tanmay Bhat video controversy, Abhishek said, "I don't think anyone should say anything. If you don't like it, don't see it. I don't think anybody should comment on it."
