Deepika Padukone breaks her silence on speculations about breakup with Ranveer Singh

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s body language and PDA spoke volumes about their relationship beyond the screen.

Mumbai: Speculations were rife that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had headed for splitsville. The Bajirao and Mastani of Bollywood, who never admitted to being in love, were believed to be in a steady relationship until rumours of their breakup started doing the rounds.

DeepVeer, as they are collectively addressed by their fans, have often expressed their love for each other publicly without actually making things obvious. Their body language and PDA spoke volumes about their relationship beyond the screen.

According to a report in Bollywoodlife.com, originally attributed to HT Cafe, Deepika broke her silence on the speculation.

“I have understood it (the speculations) well enough to know what I should absorb and what I shouldn’t. After a point, one becomes completely immune to these things. You can only do things that are in your control. Certain things are a given when you are in this industry. I am sure there are certain advantages and disadvantages of being in this industry. And this is one of the things one has to deal with, and that’s totally fine. The ups, the positives, and the love we get is way too much for us to get bogged down by the speculations or the negativity,” the publication quoted the actress as saying.

It is apparent that the two are very much together but may have taken a break to focus on their professional commitments.
