Hillary Swank ‘surprised’ by name on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Washington: Hillary Swank has said that she was surprised when she got her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Despite winning an Oscar, the ``Conviction`` star still can’t think of herself as a Hollywood superstar because in her head she`s still the same person she was growing up. And she could scarcely believe it when she was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007. "I remember going to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and seeing everyone`s names and the Hollywood sign. To later get my name on the Walk of Fame was a big moment. Really moving,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying. She said that she was very grateful for her career and credits her mother Judy for pushing her to be successful. She said, "Mom called up an agency, which is really rare, and she just said, ``My daughter``s really beautiful and talented, you should meet her.`` I went and read for a McDonald`s commercial, they signed me up and I was with them for five years."
