London: Teen star Demi Lovato says that she is very lucky to have Selena Gomez as her close friend.

The 19-year-old `Skyscraper` hitmaker said she considers the singer to be one of her closest friends but rarely gets to see her because they both work so much, reported a website. "I`m very lucky to have someone like her in my life. Selena and I have been friends for a long time, but because of our schedules we don`t get to see each other very often. Sometimes, we call each other and arrange to meet so we can catch up," she said. PTI
