Kamal Haasan meets Raj Thackeray

Mumbai: Noted actor Kamal Haasan today met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray here.

Hassan visited Thackeray at his residence at around 9:20 AM and also met his wife Sharmila and daughter Urvashi.

The 60-year-old actor was welcomed with a shawl and bouquet. "We are old friends and I just came to meet him... shake hands," Hassan said.

"He (Raj Thackeray) welcomed Mr Kamal Hassan with shawl and flowers. It was just a casual meeting... There was no agenda behind it. They are friends, so he (Hassan) just came to meet him (Thackeray)," MNS spokesperson Sandip Deshpande told PTI.

The meeting between the two bigwigs lasted for at least half an hour.
