New Delhi: Katrina Kaif, who left the audience awe-struck by a bold avatar in her debut film ‘Boom’, has reportedly vowed to avoid wearing bikinis not only in the movies, but also in her personal life.
According to DNA, the British- Indian actress was recently on and off the headlines, all thanks to her leaked pictures- sporting two piece swimwear- from her Spanish holiday.
Kaif is said to be furious after the incident and is blaming herself for donning the swimwear at a crowded beach, which might have attracted attention.
“She blames herself entirely for what happened. She feels she should not have worn a bikini on a crowded beach. The minute she saw Indians on the beach she regretted being so relaxed and casual even if on a private holiday,” a close friend of the actress said.
The source also said that the A-lister actress has decided to switch to simple ‘shorts and top’ over bikini.
“Shorts and a top. That will be her mandatory beachwear from now on. This experience has taught Katrina never to let her guard down,” he friend added.
Kaif’s seems to have successfully implied her no-bikini decision at her professional front, as it is reported that despite Aditya Chopra persuading her to wear one for ‘Dhoom 3’, she has induced him to skip the thought.
“But Katrina persuaded Adi to drop the idea. They worked out a compromise that suited both of them. Post the leaked pictures of hers in Ibiza she is unlikely to get into a bikini no matter what the prompting,” the source concluded.
