Konkona back on sets, says Ranvir

Mumbai: Actor Ranvir Shorey says his wife Konkona Sen Sharma, who took a sabbatical after their son Haroon`s birth, is back under arclights.

The actress, who was last seen in a cameo in 2001 release ‘ Khoon Maaf’, will be seen in Anant Mahadevan`s "Gaur Hari Dastaan". She plays Odisha`s freedom fighter Gaur Hari Das` wife in it. "She is going to come out full guns blazing. That part we played quite well. I took six months off, she took two years off. Haroon came to the sets of `Gaur Hari Dastaan` when he was less than a year," said Ranvir, who is making a special appearance in the film. Ranvir and Konkona tied the knot in September 2010 and had a son in 2011. "Haroon`s birth really had a profound effect on me and I think it had on Konkona also. It is fabulous, it is the best thing that has happened to me. Such a beautiful feeling I can`t tell you," Ranvir said. "It`s a beautiful experience. My mother passed away about eight-nine years ago and she always used to be after me to get married. I used to be like, `No, not now.` And now when I have a family, I realise what she meant," he added. IANS
