'Make in India Week' fire: Aamir Khan applauds Maharashtra govt, Mumbai police for excellent disaster management

Mumbai: The 'Make in India Week' event here on Sunday night hit by a tragedy when a massive fire gutted the stage during a cultural programme at the Girgaum Chowpatty seafront. Bollywood heavyweight - Aamir Khan – who was one of the guests present at the event, took to Twitter to write about the tragedy.
Aamir applauded Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the Mumbai Police and the Fire Department for managing the disaster excellently in a manner that it caused no harm to anyone and safely evacuated everyone present at the event.
He tweeted:
