New Delhi: This young and cute-looking couple were reported to have been going through a rough patch but finally it seems just to be a bad rumour. Bollywood young guns Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra were recently in the news over their drifting apart from each other owing to their growing fondness for other respective co-stars.

However, all such things only seem to be a rumour. According to Bollywood Life.com, Alia was recently quizzed over her alleged tiff with Sid, to which she replied, “She said, “I haven’t fought with Sid. I don’t have any reason to fight with him. He’ll always be a very close friend. I also asked him casually about his dinner with a ‘mystery girl’ and he said, “I didn’t go for one.” He has been working non-stop. I’ve known him for the longest time now. We started off together and, of late, we have been spending a lot of time together. I have developed a huge fondness for him, and he’ll always be an important part of my life.”

The dimpled lass even confirmed about Sid not going out on any 'mystery date' with a woman. Hmm...a friend in need is a friend indeed!
