Mumbai: Riteish Deshmukh is busy working on his noble initiative ‘Legend’s Walk’ dedicated to the legendary personalities who have been an integral part of the Indian film industry.
The actor visited yesteryears actor Pran’s residence yesterday to get his hand prints that would adorn the ‘Legend’s Walk’.
Inspired by Hollywood’s ‘Walk of Fame’, Riteish’s initiative has been supported by Bollywood stalwarts that include Dilip Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna, Manoj Kumar and many others.
Expressing gratitude to the veteran, Riteish worte on Twitter, “Wishing PRAN SAAB a very happy birthday- wanna thank him for being a part of The LEGEND`S WALK initiative. It was great meeting Pran Saab at his residence-absolutely humble- signed a poster for me-had a cup of tea n he fed his dogs biscuits too.(sic).”
Describing what ‘Legend’s Walk’ is all about, the actor had earlier tweeted, “Legend’s Walk will be a waterfront promenade which will have the hand impressions of the legends from our film industry. Trying to integrate technology for a better and wholesome experience at the Legend’sWalk. We already have more than 25 legends, who have given their hand impressions(sic).”
Looks like it’s all work and no play for this newly wedded man.
