Pratyusha Banerjee suicide: Rahul Raj withdrew money from her account, says lawyer in court

New Delhi: Television actress Pratyusha Banerjee's parents had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court to transfer their daughter's alleged suicide case to Crime Branch. 

However, according to ANI,  the Maharashtra Government lawyer opposed the transfer of the Pratyusha Banerjee case to Mumbai Police Crime branch, citing previous HC orders.

Further, Shoma Banerjee's (Pratyusha's mother) lawyer K T Thomas said, 'fair investigation was not done by police in the case'. Adding, that despite giving credible information, Rahul Raj Singh (Pratyusha's boyfreind) was not arrested.

K T Thomas said that Rahul Raj withdrew money from Pratyusha's account, as he was having her debit cards, and withdrew Rs 25 lakhs from the account in past few months.
