Preity Zinta praises PM Narendra Modi for 'Clean India' campaign

New Delhi: After Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan, dimpled beauty Preity Zinta also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pet 'Clean India' campaign, which was launched nationwide on October 2.

The actress, who is these days keeping a safe distance from the media, took to micro-clogging site Twitter, in order to express her feelings about the campaign, praising the initiative. She wrote: “So happy dat our PM has started a Swachh Bharat (Clean India) campaign. Hope every Indian can follow it through & be country Proud. JAI HIND”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi kicked off the 'Swachh Bharat' or 'Clean India' campaign on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The five-year-long ambitious campaign plans to completely clean the country by 2019, coinciding with the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
