New Delhi: Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor might have had an illustrious career in showbiz, but her personal life seems far away from anything rosy. The latest development in the divorce saga of Karisma and her husband Sunjay Kapur has taken everyone by surprise.

According to the Mid.day report, Karisma has withdrawn her consent to file divorce on mutual consent, as her hubby failed to meet the financial commitments. She decided to withdraw her consent to the petition because Sanjay reportedly did not  fulfill the set commitments mentioned in the consent terms agreed upon the two of them in family court earlier. 

In the report, Karisma's lawyer Kranti Sathe has been quoted as saying that the petition did not formalise on Wednesday and her client has filed an application to withdraw consent from the petition. Now, both Karisma and Sanjay have been asked to be present in the court on Friday.

The couple got married in 2003 and have two children, daughter Samaira (10) and son Kiaan Raj (5).
