New Delhi: All the Ranbir Kapoor fans hold your breath, for you are going to be disappointed big time. The 'Besharam' actor had hit the headlines a few days back with his grand entry into the virtual world with a Twitter handle named '@RANBIRKA6000R'.

Amidst rounds of speculation over the authenticity of this account—finally people were fed with some of his tweets. His first tweet happened to be: “His first tweet read: "Check...1...2...3...check cash...Hi, that's the warmest welcome I have ever woken up to! Thank you#RanbirHitsA6"

He even posted some pictures, making it look like as if he is here to stay. However, reports now suggest that it was only a promotional gimmick for the brand he is endorsing. Reports further added that this was just a one-time social media exercise, and the actor is not any social networking site as such.

Strangely, one of his earlier tweets are now visible on the handle. Well, the actor had attracted over 20,000 followers already. Seems like he should really consider joining back soon!
