New Delhi: Indian rapper Badshah is slowly and steadily becoming Bollywood's favourite. His songs apparently represent new-age music and people from all walks of life have started enjoying his tracks. But, did you know, what inspired him become a musician?

Okay, we won't tease you any further. American vocal group - Backstreet Boys - encouraged him to pursue music.

"Ever since I was a kid, I used to listen to Backstreet Boys and their song Get Down (on it) was my favourite. That's the song that made me decide that I want to be a musician," He told Hindustan Times.

Badshah is currently enjoying the success of his latest track with 88 million hits on YouTube.
